Description
The oil filter traps metal particles and sludge before they reach the 2.0 petrol engine's bearings and timing chain. A blocked filter starves the top end of pressure — you'll hear it first as tick from the cam area on cold starts. This is the genuine Kia cartridge, part number 2630035504, with the correct bypass valve rating for the Stinger from 2017 onward. Screw the housing to the printed torque, wet the seal with fresh oil, and reset the service indicator.
