The water pump circulates coolant through the engine and heater matrix. When it fails you get overheating, coolant loss, or a grinding noise from the timing cover area. This is the genuine Kia pump, part number 251003l100, for the Stinger from 2017 on. It mounts in the original position and uses the factory gasket surface — no machining or adapter plates needed. Fits the Stinger with the petrol engine.
