Description
This is the stud that clamps the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. Heat and corrosion chew these threads over time, so if you're doing manifold or gasket work it's worth replacing rather than reusing a stretched one. The clamping force has to be right — too loose and you get blow-by, fumes in the cabin and a noise complaint; too tight and you're into helicoil territory. Part number 285152F600.
