Description
The stud that clamps the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. When it strips or rounds off you get the classic symptoms — exhaust blow-by, a ticking that rises with revs, and eventually carbon tracking round the gasket. This is the genuine Kia item, part number 221614A000. Torque to spec on installation; the aluminium head does not forgive over-tightening.
