This O-ring sits where the dipstick tube meets the block, and when it goes hard you'll see oil weeping from the base — often mistaken for a bigger leak. Heat and oil do the damage over time. The fix is a tube-out and a new seal, not a gasket set. Genuine Kia part 266142B000, which replaces 26614-23500, 26614-35010 and 26614-35020.
