All-electric crossover. Up to 361 miles on one 84kWh battery, from £45,635
Kia gives the EV6 as 4,695mm long, 1,890mm wide and 1,550mm tall, so it is longer than most family SUVs and sits a good deal lower. Air runs 19-inch alloys. GT-Line keeps the 19s and adds the GT-Line body styling and dual LED headlights with adaptive driving beam. GT-Line S moves to 20s and gains a sunroof that tilts and slides.
White Pearl is the standard colour. Runway Red, Midnight Black and a grey are £700 premium paint — Interstellar Grey on the Air, Wolf Grey on GT-Line and GT-Line S.

Every EV6 sold in the UK has the same 84.0kWh battery. Kia publishes 18 minutes for 10 to 80 per cent, and that number belongs to the charger as much as to the car: it needs an 800-volt DC rapid delivering at least 260kW, and Kia quotes the 18 minutes against a 350kW unit. Plug the same car into a 50kW rapid and 10 to 80 per cent takes 1 hour 16 minutes. On an 11kW home or workplace charger, 10 to 100 per cent is 7 hours 35 minutes.
Range follows the drivetrain and the wheels. The Air and the rear-wheel drive GT-Line are rated at 361 miles on 19-inch alloys. The rear-wheel drive GT-Line S does 347 miles on 20s, the all-wheel drive GT-Line 339, and the all-wheel drive GT-Line S 324. Vehicle-to-Load, which turns the car into a mains socket for your own kit, is standard on Air and GT-Line; on GT-Line S it comes with an adapter and a three-pin socket inside the car.

*WLTP combined figures published by Kia UK. Kia's own note on the 18-minute charge: to reach the maximum charging speed the EV6 must use an 800-volt electric vehicle charger delivering at least 260kW, and the actual charging speed and time may be influenced by battery temperature, the status of the car, the charging infrastructure used and the weather. Range varies with driving style, temperature, route, wheel size and load.
The three trims are further apart inside than they look from the price list. Air is well equipped. GT-Line S is close to a different car.

Driver's instruments, navigation and the climate controls sit across one panoramic sweep. GT-Line and GT-Line S add a wireless charging pad. GT-Line S adds a customisable head-up display, electric steering wheel adjustment, Digital Key and fingerprint recognition, so a registered phone or thumb starts the car.

Kia Connect services are included free for seven years from first sale on every trim. Air and GT-Line run six speakers. GT-Line S carries the Meridian premium system with fourteen speakers and Active Sound Design.
Highway Driving Assist is fitted to every EV6, and GT-Line S gets the 2.0 version with hands-on detection. GT-Line adds blind-spot collision-avoidance assist; GT-Line S adds the blind-spot view monitor, a 360-degree surround view monitor and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2.0.

The boot holds 490 litres with the rear seats upright, or 480 if the car has the premium sound system. Fold the rear seats and Kia quotes 1,270 litres. There is a front boot as well, and its size depends on the drivetrain: 52 litres on rear-wheel drive, 20 on all-wheel drive, which is where the charging cables live. Braked towing is 1,800kg on every derivative, with a 100kg tow ball limit. GT-Line and GT-Line S get front relaxation seats that recline; GT-Line S adds ventilated fronts and a smart power tailgate.
Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S. GT-Line and GT-Line S are trims of the EV6 — the EV6 GT is a separate car with its own price, and it is further down this page. Every EV6 here uses the same 84.0kWh battery and a single-speed automatic. The choice underneath is rear-wheel drive with 225bhp and 350Nm, or all-wheel drive with 320bhp and 605Nm.
The 361-mile derivative. 19-inch alloys, six speakers, Highway Driving Assist, Vehicle-to-Load and seven years of Kia Connect. Air is the only trim offered in Interstellar Grey.

Kia UK price guide figures, on the road, including £10 first-year VED, the £55 first registration fee and £775 delivery. Range is WLTP combined. Top speed is 115mph rear-wheel drive and 116mph all-wheel drive. Standard paint is included and premium paint is £700. The heat pump pack is £950 and is offered on GT-Line S only. Kia's guide notes that the Expensive Car Supplement applies to cars with a P11D over £40,000, and every EV6 is over it. Confirm the price with us before you order.
GT-Line and GT-Line S are trims of the EV6. The EV6 GT is its own model, sold as a single derivative at £60,035 on the road. Kia gives it a separate page, a separate price guide and a separate set of colours. It runs 21-inch wheels, neon green brake calipers and a neon green cabin, and no GT-Line has any of that.

Under the floor it is the same 84.0kWh battery as the rest of the range, and it charges on the same terms: 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes, on an 800-volt charger delivering at least 260kW. Range is 279 miles WLTP combined on the 21s. Torque is 770Nm, kerb weight is 2,220kg, the boot is 480 litres with 20 more under the bonnet, and braked towing is 1,800kg — the same as every other EV6.

Electronically controlled suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a drive mode selector with Normal, Eco, Sport, MyDrive and Snow alongside Kia's integrated GT drive mode control. Virtual Gear Shift, regenerative braking paddles with iPedal, black artificial suede bucket seats with neon green stitching, a three-spoke GT steering wheel and a rear spoiler. MacPherson struts at the front, multi-link at the rear, on 255/40ZR21 tyres. The heat pump is standard here, where it is a £950 option on GT-Line S.
Yacht Matt Blue, the colour above, is a GT-only matt finish at £1,500. White Pearl is the standard paint; Midnight Black, Wolf Grey and Runway Red are £700.
*Kia UK's specification page gives the GT as 641bhp with 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds. Its model page adds that 641bhp is reached under launch control, and quotes 3.7 seconds without it. Range is WLTP combined on 21-inch wheels. Kia publishes no dimensions and no seats-folded boot figure for the GT, so neither is quoted here.
